Richmond Kennedy Quarcoo from Ghana is a trained Merchant Navy Officer with a B.Sc. in Nautical Science from the Regional Maritime University, Accra, Ghana.
In 2013, he wrote his thesis on “the viability of marine plastic pollutants as a raw material”. He actively participates in the Coastal Oceanography and Environment Summer School in Ghana, where he broadened his knowledge in Oceanography and plastic pollution.
Alongside his media consultant and event organizer activities, Richmond is co-founder and Executive Director of Plastic Punch.
